Be sure to also check out “The Jungle Boat” rental located at the Marina, great for families and kids of all ages to enjoy! The restaurant “Drafts & Watercraft’s” located at the marina is a great place to grab a drink, hangout, eat or grab something to go! “Drafts” offers a great atmosphere with live music and outdoor seating. Holiday Landing Marina

Holiday Landing Marina is located in Tullahoma, TN. Holiday Landing is home to the “Blue Gill Grill”. They also have a public boat access. Holiday Landing is a great place to stop on your lake trip. Blue Gil Grill offers great food and live music perfect for all ages to enjoy. There is also have their very own bait and tackle shop! Tim’s Ford Marina

Tim’s Ford Marina is located in Winchester, TN. Tim’s Ford Marina is home to the “Hard Dock Cafe”, which offers live music, outdoor seating and a laid back environment. You can grab something to eat at anytime of the day, The Hard Dock serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Tim’s Ford Marina also offers boat and cabin rentals. There is also an RV Resort located at the Marina as well, that has all the accommodations you will need! Filo’s Tavern

Filo’s Tavern is located in Downtown Winchester, right next to the Oldham Theatre. Filo’s Tavern has excellent quality American cuisine and a great atmosphere with a made-from-scratch menu. They offer a wide variety of high end bourbons and extensive wine list. The ambience is a clean, well decorated and attractive space giving guests an upscale but casual, comfortable feeling. Taqueria Los Olivos

Taqueria Los Olivos has traditional Mexican cuisine. They are a great spot for quick eats, and have the best carne asada tacos! Their green and red salsa are made from scratch as well as their authentic beans. Highly recommended for a lunch destination.

Walnut Hill Coffee Co.

More than just coffee, Walnut Hill offers great salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and teas. They offer breakfast and brunch options, including our favorite- The Alamo breakfast tacos. They also have seasonal items, acai bowls, pastries, and much more! While you wait for your breakfast or lunch, there is a small gift shop inside their store, and an expansive dining and working area suitable for large groups or the lone worker. Walnut Hill is located right in Downtown Winchester.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tours

Located in Lynchburg, TN, Jack Daniel’s Distillery is sure to be a hit for your next family outing. The tour is kid-friendly and there is so much to see and do. The tour only takes a little over an hour. A guide will walk you through Mr. Jack’s Distillery and the old- time Tennessee Whiskey making process. If you’re 21+ you can get the full experience and end your tour at the Historic Barrel House where you can sip on different famous whiskeys. This historic stop is a must on your stop at Winchester, especially if you are a Jack Daniel’s lover. You can also get your own personal bottle engraved!

Water Destinations

There are many ways to enjoy the scenic water views of Tim’s Ford Lake. At Twin Creeks Marina, you can rent the Jungle Boat for a fun packed family adventure on the water. They offer admission by the hour so the kids can jump, swing, and dive off the Jungle Boat while you enjoy a snack at the marina.

There are also spots on Tim’s Ford Lake that are a must see if you’re looking for more. Party Cove has several places for Cliff Jumping, and right around the corner from there you can also go see the Bats at Pennington Cave! Search “Bluff Cliffs” in Google Maps for Party Cove and “Pennington Cave” in Google Maps for location.

Thanks to the Tim’s Ford Dam, we have a lake! There is an overlook you can drive to on Tim’s Ford Dam Rd. and see a life size turbine, and then explore Elk Creek on the other side, which is a perfect spot for trout fishing!

You can also visit Dry Creek Beach for a picnic or play some sand volleyball. Located on Dry Creek Beach Rd and Lynchburg Rd.

Rainy Day Destinations

While most guests prefer to stay in and watch TV with their crew, some may want to adventure out on a rainy day!

For the Little Adventurers

Some fun and exciting adventures geared towards the little travelers are the Chattanooga Creative Discovery Museum, Manchester Rec Center for outdoor pool with water slides, Harvey’s Garden Park (a free large scale fairy garden), Beechcraft Heritage Museum, and a free visit to the Airplanes on display outside of Arnold Airforce Base Visitor Center.
